She most definitely has that beautiful pregnancy glow. You can just see the excitement and anticipation in both of their eyes. They are about to experience one of life’s greatest blessing, how exciting!!

I have known this family for years and I was beyond thrilled when they contacted me to do some newborn portraits for their 3rd little blessing. Baby D was an absolute charmer and I just fell in love with him and his older siblings. Big brother and big sister were so much help during the session and I teased Mom and Dad that I found some new assistants and just might take them home with me. Here are a few of my favs from our session. As you can see, this little guy is loved, loved,loved. Welcome to the world precious baby boy.

Alice in Wonderland has to be one of my all time favorite performances and Arts Avenue for Kids did a stellar performance earlier this month. I can honestly say that I was completely taken back to my childhood and I thoroughly enjoyed photographing this beloved performance. I was amazed with the talent of all these students. A lot of hard work and practice went into this production and it showed. Bravo, Arts Avenue, Bravo!! Another job well done!!!

God and Country-Presented By Arts Avenue For Kids-Perforamnces-C. Thompson Photography
Last Monday, I was treated to an incredible performance by Arts Avenue For Kids. Arts Avenue is a wonderful Christian theater, dance, and music studio for kids. This year they presented God and Country and it honored our soldiers and veterans. This performance was absolutely moving and I got chills numerous times while photographing this spectacular event. This performance featured students of all ages and each student shine. Great job Vicki, your studio put on a stellar performance and I feel so incredibly honored to have captured this moving performance. Here’s a preview from the night.

After a busy day of shooting, I came home to do did a quick clothing change and I was prom bound. Well, I actually wasn’t going to the prom, but I was doing a pre-prom shoot for the beautiful Ashley. I love how prom sessions are so reminiscent. Some things have changed over the years, but it is really neat how somethings have remained the same. I loved the excitment in her eyes and the anticipation in her voice. Ash, is a Senior and in just a few short months she will begin another new and adventurous chapter in her life. However, for this night, she placed a tiara upon her head, slipped into a beautiful ball gown, and seized the moment Cinderella style. Carpe diem, my friends, Carpe diem.
