Marie, Isn’t She Lovely-Bridal-C.Thompson Photography

The wedding has already come and gone and now its time to share Marie’s bridal portraits.  The day of her bridal’s could not have been more perfect.  The hazy sky cleared up, her dress fit perfect after the last alteration, we had a light breeze to beat the Texas heat, all the details were covered, the location was beautiful, and we had fun.   She looked absolutely AMAZING  and as she spun around after her Mom zipped up her dress, I could see a little girl from years ago transformed into a beautiful woman, a breath taking bride to be.   Isn’t she lovely…..

Just had to share some of Marie having fun and pretending to be a bridezilla as she ordered her Maid of Honor around, Rachel was a trooper.

J. Ready Or Not, Here I Come-Babies-C. Thompson Photography

I was super surprised when I came out for J’s  5 month session, that he was almost on the go.  Wasn’t it only a few months ago, that I was swaddling this little guy up in his blankie for his newborn session?  My oh my, how quickly the milestones come and go.  This little guy is determined to master crawling before he is 6 months old.   Mom was a little apprehensive at the start of the session because he didn’t take a morning nap, but once we got started there was absolutely nothing to worry about.   We rocked, we scooted, and we even rolled.   I got down on the floor with him and he proudly showed me his new skills and he let me know real quick that this session was going to consist of lots of smiles, scooting, rocking, and lots of crawling attempts.  I simply let him strut his stuff and I am pretty sure once I left he took an awesome nap.    I loved every minute of it this session.  I loved seeing his reaction, loved seeing the reaction of his parents, and I loved that I was apart of this huge milestone in his life.

The Hobbit-Arts Avenue For Kids-Performances-C. Thompson Photography

Another job well done by Arts Avenue For Kids.   The students did a magnificent performance of  The Hobbit.  I was truly amazed at how each student so easily transformed into their character.   They were spot on in making their characters and each scene come to life.  I know a lot of hard work and preparation went into this performance and it showed.  This talented group of students absolutely nailed the performance and these students have very bright futures ahead of them.  Can’t wait to see what the future holds for them and I can’t wait until the Fall for the next round of performances.

Shay & John’s-Engagement-C. Thompson Photography

Here’s another fun session that took place on the beautiful Texas Coastline.  I just couldn’t get enough of that incredible sunset nor could I get Kenny Chesney out of my head while I was photographing Shay and John for their engagement portraits.   I felt like I was in one of his music videos.    I had a super adorable couple totally in love in front of my camera,  water was in the background,  music was playing, and there were even drinks with those tiny little umbrellas.     These two lovebirds were a riot to photograph and the session was as much fun as it looked!!    Congratulations on your engagement, may your life together always be filled with laughter, love, and happiness!!!
