I recently met this wonderful family and it has been such a pleasure getting to know them. I had the honor of capturing Baby N’s Baptism and I think one of my favorite images is the one where the Priest is getting ready to start the Baptism and she is pulling back. As you can see, her reluctance disappeared and she did great through the ceremony. It was such an honor to be able to document this special occasion. Here are a few of my favorite images from the Baptism.

The Contest-Children’s Dance & Theater
Arts Avenue for Kids presented The Contest and they put on quite a performance. What a talented group of kids and young adults. The performance was very entertaining and I had a ton of fun photographing this talented theater/dance group. Here are a few images from their performance.
Ashley In Wonderland-Prom 2010
“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is because everything would be what it isn’t. And contrary-wise; what it is it wouldn’t be, and what it wouldn’t be, it would. You see?”
Alice
Ashley had her “Alice In Wonderland” themed prom a few weekends ago and we were able to do a quick photo session before she met up with the rest of her friends for this magical night in Wonderland. Doesn’t she look absolutely stunning?
Giddy Up & Go Birthday Boy
I recently had the honor of photographing this little cowboy for his two year old portraits. The birthday boy and Trigger, aka the stick horse kept me on my toes. They were ready to go, go, go. This is such a fun and playful age that is full of independence and exploration and so much fun to capture. Happy birthday Cameron!!

Arriving In Style-Sarah
Blond Bomshell + Hotrod= (insert long whistle right here). Not only did the lovely Sarah look absolutely stunning in her gorgeous vibrant dress, but she sported a sweet ride as well. Sarah’s Dad handed over the keys to his 2nd baby(a yellow 31 Coupe) so his 1st baby could arrive to prom in style. This was such a fun pre-prom shoot and let me tell you heads turned for sure!!
Structured, but fun
This week I got the opportunity to do some corporate headshots. This shoot was obviously more structured and specific(right down to the shade of blue for the background) than the work I normally do, but it was still fun to step outside of my comfort zone. Plus I was super pleased with the feedback I got from the marketing department on all the images. That totally made stepping outside my zone worth it.
Happy Mother’s Day
The Super Talented Vicki
Last weekend the beautiful and super talented Vicki came to see me for some outdoor headshots. Vicki is the founder and director for Arts Avenue for Kids, which is a Christian theater, dance and music studio. Being on center stage has paid off, Vicki has nailed the million dollar smile. Her smile is absolutely contagious! Here are a few of my favorite images from our session last week. Looking forward to seeing Vicki and her theater kids on stage in a few weeks for their recital.
Jessica-Prom 2010
A few weeks ago, I was taken back to my high school days, when the lovely Jessica asked me to photograph some pre-prom pictures for her. I have to say that I loved every minute of this shoot. It was so much fun getting to see all of the variety of dresses and getting to shoot on a primo property. A local business executive opened his amazing home to the seniors and they were free to come and take pictures on his beautifully landscaped property.
Shelly-Here Comes The Bride
I know, I’m such a teaser. I am not going to actually show the bridal portraits until I photograph the wedding in June. However, I can show you the lovely Maid Of Honor, Shayla who came along to help out with Shelly’s bridal session AND I can give you a sneak peek of the shoes or I guess I should say boots the bride has chosen to wear on the big day. Aren’t those cute??
