It’s official, Susan and Floyd are now Mr. and Mrs. Yay, I can now share some of Susan’s beautiful bridal portraits. Isn’t she a gorgeous bride? LOVED her dress, LOVED the orange shoes, and LOVED the location. I have known Susan and Floyd since they were kids and I was so thrilled when they announced their engagement, excited to have been their photographer for their engagement and Susan’s bridal portraits, and beyond honored to have photographed their wedding. As you can tell, it is tough work being a cowboy! My cousin and his wife just welcome their 2nd son into the world and isn’t he just the cutest cowboy you have ever seen? He was so relaxed with not a care in the world as we positioned him on Daddy’s saddle. Life is good Sweet baby “R”, ride baby ride.

This weekend I finally had the perfect opportunity to photograph my sister and her boyfriend and yes, these two are as happy as they seem in these images. These two love birds have a pretty amazing love story and I can not wait to see what the future holds for them.

This weekend Shelly & Doug tied the knot, congratulations!! I can now reveal a few of my favorite images from her bridal session a few months ago. Shelly wanted something classic and timeless for her portraits and I chose a local university campus that is rich in architecture and textures. Funny thing about this shoot was that some of my favorite images were the ones we just happened upon. We were doing some silhouette shots in the setting sun near the train tracks and Shayla and I were teasing Shelly of being a run-a-way bride and that is when I got the hand on the hip track shot, I loved her yeah right attitude.

This year, I’ve had the opportunity and honor to share and photograph many special occasions with Jessica. It just seems like yesterday that we were planning her senior portrait session and now the time has finally come and she is a high school graduate, who is planning on attending The University of Texas in the Fall. Last weekend we celebrated the end of one chapter and the incredible beginning of a new one. Congratulations Jessica!! Thank you for sharing such momentous occasions with me. I have really enjoyed documenting your journey this year. Good luck in the Fall and HOOK ‘EM HORNS!!!

I recently met this wonderful family and it has been such a pleasure getting to know them. I had the honor of capturing Baby N’s Baptism and I think one of my favorite images is the one where the Priest is getting ready to start the Baptism and she is pulling back. As you can see, her reluctance disappeared and she did great through the ceremony. It was such an honor to be able to document this special occasion.
