Being able to share and capture a couple’s wedding day is an absolute honor. Being able to share those intimate moments with the couple and their family is simply indescribable. I love observing and capturing the huge range of emotions this special day brings about. Long after the wedding, it’s those moments and details captured that allow the couple to vividly remember their wedding day forever. Last month I had the privilege of capturing Marie and Josh’s special day from beginning till the end. They were wed at the beautiful Aristide Event & Conference center. This incredible venue was modeled after an 18th century Italian church, it is rich in texture, beautifully decorated, and offers incredible lighting, both natural and artificial. The wedding was absolutely gorgeous and the details were AMAZING. Hints of fuchsia, crystals, amazing florals, candlescapes, along with a beautiful bride and a handsome groom made the day complete. The wedding has already come and gone and now its time to share Marie’s bridal portraits. The day of her bridal’s could not have been more perfect. The hazy sky cleared up, her dress fit perfect after the last alteration, we had a light breeze to beat the Texas heat, all the details were covered, the location was beautiful, and we had fun. She looked absolutely AMAZING and as she spun around after her Mom zipped up her dress, I could see a little girl from years ago transformed into a beautiful woman, a breath taking bride to be. Isn’t she lovely…..

Just had to share some of Marie having fun and pretending to be a bridezilla as she ordered her Maid of Honor around, Rachel was a trooper.

Alicia & Mario’s Wedding

You know that you are going to be attending a fun wedding, when the wedding is located on a golf course and the decor is sprinkled with hot pink accents and zebra prints. Does that scream this is going to be a fun wedding or what? Alicia and Mario had a beautiful golf course wedding. It was absolutely perfect and yes, the wedding was a blast. It is always an honor to capture and share such a momentous event. Congratulations Alicia & Mario. May you always remember the excitement and happiness of your wedding day. The Hills Are Alive….

This shoot was a hoot and there were several reasons why! First of all, to see 3 grown adults frolicking and spinning through an over grown field was pretty comical. I couldn’t help, but to sing the chorus from “The Sound of Music.” Needless to say, we got quite a few stares, but we had a blast and I was able to capture exactly what Neiman had in mind for this photo session. Secondly, you should have seen all of the mosquito bites I got from practically laying down in the grass for some of these shots. They most definitely itched, but I just had to laugh because I was covered in red polka-dots for days. However, hearing Neiman’s reaction when she saw the images made every single mosquito bite worth it. These images are super special because Neiman is wearing her Grandmother’s wedding dress and her Grandmother’s wedding ring. This session was a surprise session for Neiman’s Mother. Isn’t that so sweet? Last Spring I photographed this beautiful bride to be and then had the honor of photographing her wedding this past Winter. Being that all of the wedding planning is over and the wedding has come and gone, Neiman’s mother is going to be in complete shock when she is presented with these portraits. These two lovebirds have know each other since they were kids and their journey to the alter has been one incredible love story. Just watching them on their wedding day gave me the most intense butterflies. I could see, feel, and was able capture these tender and sweet emotions. They are absolutely adorable and it was a privilege and blast to photograph their special day. Congratulations Susan and Floyd. Wishing you a lifetime full of happiness!!
