The wedding has already come and gone and now its time to share Marie’s bridal portraits. The day of her bridal’s could not have been more perfect. The hazy sky cleared up, her dress fit perfect after the last alteration, we had a light breeze to beat the Texas heat, all the details were covered, the location was beautiful, and we had fun. She looked absolutely AMAZING and as she spun around after her Mom zipped up her dress, I could see a little girl from years ago transformed into a beautiful woman, a breath taking bride to be. Isn’t she lovely…..

Just had to share some of Marie having fun and pretending to be a bridezilla as she ordered her Maid of Honor around, Rachel was a trooper.

The Hills Are Alive….

This shoot was a hoot and there were several reasons why! First of all, to see 3 grown adults frolicking and spinning through an over grown field was pretty comical. I couldn’t help, but to sing the chorus from “The Sound of Music.” Needless to say, we got quite a few stares, but we had a blast and I was able to capture exactly what Neiman had in mind for this photo session. Secondly, you should have seen all of the mosquito bites I got from practically laying down in the grass for some of these shots. They most definitely itched, but I just had to laugh because I was covered in red polka-dots for days. However, hearing Neiman’s reaction when she saw the images made every single mosquito bite worth it. These images are super special because Neiman is wearing her Grandmother’s wedding dress and her Grandmother’s wedding ring. This session was a surprise session for Neiman’s Mother. Isn’t that so sweet? Last Spring I photographed this beautiful bride to be and then had the honor of photographing her wedding this past Winter. Being that all of the wedding planning is over and the wedding has come and gone, Neiman’s mother is going to be in complete shock when she is presented with these portraits. Susan-Bridal Portraits

It’s official, Susan and Floyd are now Mr. and Mrs. Yay, I can now share some of Susan’s beautiful bridal portraits. Isn’t she a gorgeous bride? LOVED her dress, LOVED the orange shoes, and LOVED the location. I have known Susan and Floyd since they were kids and I was so thrilled when they announced their engagement, excited to have been their photographer for their engagement and Susan’s bridal portraits, and beyond honored to have photographed their wedding. Congrats Susan and Floyd!!! Wedding images soon to come.

Shelly-Bridal Portraits

This weekend Shelly & Doug tied the knot, congratulations!! I can now reveal a few of my favorite images from her bridal session a few months ago. Shelly wanted something classic and timeless for her portraits and I chose a local university campus that is rich in architecture and textures. Funny thing about this shoot was that some of my favorite images were the ones we just happened upon. We were doing some silhouette shots in the setting sun near the train tracks and Shayla and I were teasing Shelly of being a run-a-way bride and that is when I got the hand on the hip track shot, I loved her yeah right attitude.

I know, I’m such a teaser. I am not going to actually show the bridal portraits until I photograph the wedding in June. However, I can show you the lovely Maid Of Honor, Shayla who came along to help out with Shelly’s bridal session AND I can give you a sneak peek of the shoes or I guess I should say boots the bride has chosen to wear on the big day. Aren’t those cute??
