Sweet, Sweet, Baby!!

Oh my goodness, I’m in love with this sweet baby girl! I recently helped welcome Sweet Baby E into the world by doing an in home photography session. I have known Deanna for years and I was so super excited when she contacted me to come out to their home and capture this special time in their lives. The original plan was to get some images of this new happy family of 4, but Big Sister had other plans. As soon as I arrived, she was ready for her morning nap. So, my motto is to never wake a sleeping baby, so we let Big Sister sleep and I got to focus all of my attention on Mom& Dad, and this beautiful bright-eyed little bundle of joy. Just like Big Sister had her own agenda, so did precious Baby E. She decided that she was not going to sleep and we quickly learned she had no desire to be naked. Being that I am a Mom to 3, I’ve become really flexible over the years and I’ve learned that sometimes you’ve just gotta roll with it and that is exactly what we did. We had a lot of fun and we captured some great images along the way. As we finished up our session, Sweet E finally had enough and went to sleep. Of course, I had not packed my equipment up and I was able to get some shots of her sleeping. There is nothing more precious than a sleeping baby!! Here are a few of my favs….

Sweet Baby H-The Happiest Baby

On a recent trip to Louisiana, I got to meet our cousin’s precious baby girl for the very first time and she is the happiest baby. She was all smiles and that huge toothless grin just melted my heart. I am thankful that her parents allowed me to get my baby fix in while we were visiting. I swear my babies have grown up too fast and I miss the rolls and wrinkles, the toothless grin, and the intoxicating smell of a baby’s head. It was so wonderful to be reminded of all those beautiful things.

Sweet Baby R-Bluest Eyes in Texas

Recently I had the opportunity to photograph this little sweetheart and let me tell ya, this cutie pie has the bluest eyes in Texas. Seriously, they are really that crisp and blue! I was captivated and I could have photographed him all day, but it was hot outside and I knew our time was limited. Here are a few of my favorites. Watch out girls, this little guy is gonna be a heart breaker!!

Sweet Baby “R”- Ride Baby Ride

As you can tell, it is tough work being a cowboy! My cousin and his wife just welcome their 2nd son into the world and isn’t he just the cutest cowboy you have ever seen? He was so relaxed with not a care in the world as we positioned him on Daddy’s saddle. Life is good Sweet baby “R”, ride baby ride.

Baby N’s Special Day-Baptism

I recently met this wonderful family and it has been such a pleasure getting to know them. I had the honor of capturing Baby N’s Baptism and I think one of my favorite images is the one where the Priest is getting ready to start the Baptism and she is pulling back. As you can see, her reluctance disappeared and she did great through the ceremony. It was such an honor to be able to document this special occasion. Because cute new outfits require a photoshoot. The littlest K was really not in the mood to be photographed, but once I pulled out the big guns, AKA leftover Valentine’s Day candy she soon forgot all about the camera. Can’t believe our sweet girl is 21 months old!!
