The Hills Are Alive….

This shoot was a hoot and there were several reasons why!  First of all, to see 3 grown adults frolicking  and spinning through an over grown field was pretty comical.  I couldn’t help, but to sing the chorus from “The Sound of Music.”   Needless to say, we got quite a few stares, but we had a blast and I was able to capture exactly what Neiman had in mind for this photo session.     Secondly, you should have seen all of the mosquito bites I got from practically laying down in the grass for some of these shots.  They most definitely itched, but I just had to laugh because I was covered in red polka-dots for days.    However, hearing Neiman’s reaction when she saw the images made every single mosquito bite worth it.  These images are super special because Neiman is wearing her Grandmother’s wedding dress and her Grandmother’s wedding ring.  This session was a surprise session for Neiman’s  Mother.  Isn’t that so sweet?  Last Spring I photographed this beautiful bride to be and then had the honor of photographing her wedding this past Winter.  Being that all of the wedding planning is over and the wedding has come and gone, Neiman’s mother is going to be in complete shock when she is presented with these portraits.    Here are a few of my favs……
